2 children among 4 killed in Sherpur road crash

Four people including two children were killed and four others injured as a pick-up collided head on with a CNG-powered auto-rickshaw in Sherpur’s Nakla Upazila on Wednesday (November 13).

The accident took place at Paiska Bypass area under the upazila.

The deceased were identified as Tayeba, 10, daughter of Tofazzal Hossain from Netrakona; Tazen Mia, 15, son of Sultan Mia from Sherpur; Subina Begum, 20, daughter of Sultan Mia from Mymensingh and CNG-powered auto-rickshaw driver Alal Uddin, 40.

The four injured were referred to Mymensingh Medical College Hospital.

Nakla Police Station’s officer-in-charge (OC) Habibur Rahman and Mymensingh Phulpur Police Station officer-in-charge (OC) Abdul Hadi confirmed the information.
