Fire breaks out at Meghna group factory in N’ganj

A fire broke out in the warehouse of a paper factory of Meghna Group of industries in Meghnaghat, Sonargaon upazila, Narayanganj.

The fire originated around 3:00am on Monday (November 17).

On information, a total of 12 fire units from Narayanganj, Demra, Kanchpur, Gazaria, and Bandar rushed to the spot to douse the blaze.

Fire service control room official Rafi Al Faruk said initially five fire units were sent to the spot. Later, seven more units joined the effort to douse the blaze.
