One killed in Jhenaidah boiler explosion

A man was killed in a boiler explosion at a tyre shop in Hamdoh area of Jhenaidah town on Monday noon.

The deceased was identified as Sabbir Hossain, 20, a technician and son of Biplob Biswas at Hamdoh.

Witnesses said the boiler of the shop exploded at noon, leaving Sabbir injured. He was rescued and sent to Jhenaidah Sadar Hospital where duty doctors declared him dead.
