Two killed in Gazipur road crash

At least two people were killed when a motorcycle collided with a lorry in Sreepur of Gazipur on Thursday evening (November 21).

One of the deceased was known as Enamul Haque Sarker, son of Nurul Islam Sarker, and another victim remained unidentified.

Locals said riding a motorcycle, four construction workers were heading towards Gosinga Bazar after the daily work around 5:00pm. Meanwhile, brick-laden lorry hit the bike, leaving four riders critically injured. They were taken to a local hospital where duty doctor declared Enamul Haque died. Later, another victim died on the way to Gazipur Shaheed Tajuddin Ahmed Medical.

Sreepur police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Mohammad Joynal Abedin Mandal confirmed the matter.
