Three members of armed separatist group Kuki-Chin National Front (KNF) have been killed in a ‘gunfight’ with army in the dense forests of Bandarban’s Ruma upazila.
This information was confirmed on Sunday (November 24) in a press release signed by Rashedul Alam Khan, assistant director at the Inter Services Public Relation (ISPR) Directorate.
The army launched the operation based on a tip-off about the location of a secret hideout used by the KNF, according to the ISPR.
The gunfight took place when the army personnel conducted a raid at the hideout, leaving three KNF members dead.
