Ctg lawyer murder: Lawyers boycott court

An intern lawyer was killed in a clash over a court order to send Chinmoy Krishna Das Brahmachari to jail on Tuesday afternoon. 

The deceased is Saiful Islam Alif.  Many people were injured in the clash. 

Saiful Islam Alif was taken to Chattogram Medical College Hospital at around 3:30pm where duty doctors declared him dead.  

A court in Chattogram has sent former ISKCON leader Chandan Kumar Dhar to jail after dismissing his bail petition in connection with a sedition case.  

Meanwhile, Chattogram lawyers will boycott the court from Wednesday (November 27), asking the government to bring to justice the culprits behind the killing of the lawyer.

Chattogram Ainjibi Samity General Secretary Ashraf Hossain Chowhdury Razzak announced this.
