Bus helper dies after the vehicle catches fire

A helper of a bus was burned to death in a fire reportedly originating from a mosquito coil inside the vehicle Khulna.

The tragic incident took place at a bus of Sundarban Paribahan in Sonadanga Bus Terminal on Thursday night (November 28).

The deceased was known as Shariful, hailed from Sreenagar upazila of Munshiganj.

Sonadanga police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Md Shafiqul Islam said that Shariful fell asleep inside the bus after igniting the mosquito coal at night. Later, the bus caught fire from the coil and it got completely burnt to ashes.

The victim was taken to Khulna Medical College Hospital where duty doctor declared him dead.
