3 private car passengers killed in Savar

Three people died as a bus rammed into a private car on the Dhaka-Aricha highway at Baliarpur in Savar on Monday.

Two others were injured who have been admitted to Enam Medical and Ibne Sina Hospital in Dhaka.

The deceased were identified as Ibrahim, a former member of the Baliarpur Union Parishad, and Mujibur Rahman, driver of the private car.

The injured are Shabuddin and Abdul Jalil.

According to sources, the accident happened in the afternoon in front of Baliarpur CNG Filling Station when the bus hit the private car, leaving the three dead on the spot and two others injured.

Police seized the bus and its driver and helper managed to flee the spot.
