Senior journalist M Fakhrul Haque passes away

M Fakhrul Haque, Netrokona Correspondent of Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, died of heart attack in the city's Lab Aid Hospital on Tuesday night (December 4).

He breathed his last around 9:00pm. He was 61.

Kibria Chowdhury, Netrokona district press club member secretary said that Fakhrul was taken to Netrokona Sadar Hospital immediately after he fell sick at his residence on Monday morning. He was later shifted to Dhaka as his condition deteriorated following the heart attack.

Former General Secretary of the District Press Club Shyamlendu Paul said M Fakhrul Haque was a shining example of dedicated and fearless journalism.
