Temperature drops to 11.8°C in Dinajpur

The intensity of winter in Dinajpur has been increasing over the past few days, with the drop in temperature making the cold more pronounced.

Additionally, fog is settling in from early morning to noon, and the chilly winds are further intensifying the cold.

The cold weather has been particularly difficult for low-income, laboring individuals.

The temperature in Dinajpur dropped to a minimum of 11.8°C at 6am on Saturday (December 14).

Tofazzal Hossain, in-charge of the Dinajpur met office, reported that the temperature in the region has been consistently dropping. The minimum temperature recorded on Saturday was 11.8°C.

At 6am, the humidity was at 89%, with an average wind speed of 2km per hour, he said.

Yesterday at the same time, the minimum temperature was recorded at 12.2°C and the humidity was at 94%.
