EC to decide who can contest polls: Badiul Alam

Badiul Alam Majumder, head of the Electoral Reform Commission said that the Election Commission (EC) will decide who can participate in the election.
He said this while addressing reporters at the conference room of district administration in Chattogram on Sunday (December 22).
"Our responsibility is to propose reforms to the electoral system," Badiul Alam said.
He also said, "There will be recommendations regarding reforming our electoral system. There are strong proposals both for and against proportional representation. We are taking all of them into consideration."
