4 members of robber gang arrested in Tangail

Four members of a robbery gang were arrested by detective branch (DB) police on Thursday noon (December 26).

The arrestees are – Al Amin, 27, son of late Abdul Jalil, Rayhan Ahmed Lijon, 28, son of Nuru Islam, Ashraf Hossain, 25, son of late Anwar Hossain, and Hasan, 26, son of Majibul Haque.

Police said Hasan and Ashraf were arrested after getting information from Al Amin and Lijon. At least 27 cases were filed against Al Amin in several police stations.

Additional police super (DSB) Abdullah Al Mamun confirmed the matter.
