Fire guts wood factory in Chattogram

A massive wood factory was gutted in Kattali of CDA area in Chattogram on early Monday (December 30).

On information, five fire units rushed to the spot around 2 am and brought the blaze under control after two hours of effort.

Chattogram fire service control room said that the fire originated at 1:45 am in a large wood and furniture factory in the area. The fire instantly spread to the adjacent area.

The reasons behind the blaze and loss of extend could not be known immediately.
