Female doctor allegedly kidnapped from home in Rajshahi 

A female doctor has allegedly been kidnapped from her home in Rajshahi. At that time, the doctor’s mother was injured by miscreants. Their father was also abducted at that time.

The kidnappers dumped the woman's father in the Salanga police station area of Sirajganj. 

The incident took place in the early hours of Monday (December 30), the family said.

Officer-in-Charge of Chandrima Police Station Matiar Rahman said they have identified a man named Tanvir Khan Taj Rowshan Alam as the mastermind behind the kidnapping. Some say the man married to a female doctor. Some say he was not married. The family says the doctor was abducted under his leadership.

When contacted at Salanga Police Station in Sirajganj, Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Shafiul Islam said, “At around 12 noon, people from Bhengri area of Salanga Police Station rescued Abu Taher Khurshid Bakul and brought him to the police station. The kidnappers picked up the father and daughter in the same microbus. They took away the daughter. The victim's relatives have come from Rajshahi. The process of handing over the victim to them is underway”. 

A case will be filed in Rajshahi, said the OC of Chandrima Police Station in Rajshahi.
