Mild cold wave in Panchagarh, temperature dips to 8°C

Panchagarh is experiencing a mild cold wave, with heavy fog and winter chill dampening daily life in the district.
After a brief rise, temperatures in the northern district fell to 8.5 degrees Celsius at 6am on Friday (January 3), according to the Tentulia Weather Observatory.
For several days, fog has been falling like rain all night. The entire district area is gripped by the bitter cold with thick fog.
The intense cold has brought public life in Panchagarh to a standstill. The cold is usually sharper from the evening to 10am in the morning.
The low temperatures are causing great difficulties for those who depend on a daily income or engage in physical labour.
