2 killed in road accident on Dhaka-Mawa expressway

Two people were killed when a passenger collided with a truck on Dhaka-Mawa Expressway in Hashara area under Srinagar upazila of Munshiganj early Friday (January 3).

Identities of the deceased could not be known immediately.

Hashara highway police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Kader Jilani said the Dhaka-bound passenger bus hit the truck around 5:00 am due to heavy fog, leaving the two people dead.

The bodies were kept at Dhaka Midford Hospital for autopsy.
