Dinajpur`s temperature drops to 10°C

Dinajpur and its surrounding districts are facing severe cold as icy northern winds accelerate, accompanied by overcast skies, which has caused significant hardship for residents, disrupting daily life and affecting livelihoods.

The minimum temperature in Dinajpur on Thursday (January 9) dropped to 10.5°C, according to the Dinajpur Meteorological Office.

Tofazzal Hossain, in charge of the Dinajpur Meteorological Office, said that the humidity is 91 percent today. The wind speed is 5 kilometers per hour. The temperature was 15 degrees Celsius yesterday.

Dense fog, chilly winds from the north, and freezing temperatures prevail from evening to morning in the district. Vehicles are forced to use headlights to navigate through the fog.
