OC’s body recovered from police station in Shariatpur

Police have recovered the hanging body of Officer-in-Charge (OC) Al Amin from inside the Zajira Police Station complex in Shariatpur.

The body was found in a room of the police station building at around 1pm on Thursday (January 9).

District Superintendent of Police (SP) Nazrul Islam confirmed the incident around 3 pm.

SP Nazrul said, “We have recovered the OC’s body from a room in the police station building after receiving information. Reason behind his death could be known only after receiving the autopsy report.”

Initially, police suspect that it might be a case of suicide.
