Mild cold wave sweeps Panchagarh, temperatures drop to 7°C

A mild cold wave has swept through the northern district of Panchagarh, with temperatures dropping to 7°C on Friday (January 10).

The district's Tentulia weather observation station recorded a temperature of 7.3 degree Celsius at 9 am on Friday (January 10). It is the lowest temperature of the season.

Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) said a mild cold wave is sweeping over the districts of Rajshahi, Pabna, Naogaon, Panchagarh and Chuadanga and it may spread.

The low temperatures in the district are causing great difficulties for those who depend on a daily income or engage in physical labour.
