Russian national found dead in Rooppur green city

A Russian national was found dead in Green City, the residential area of the Rooppur Nuclear Power Plant project in Pabna's Ishwardi on Thursday afternoon (January 9).

The deceased was known as Ivan Kitmazove, 40. He was working as an electrical circuit installer in the Rooppur Nuclear Power Plant project's scheme company.

Ishwardi police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Shahidul Islam said the body was recovered from washroom of level 9 in a 14-storey building in Green City. Later, doctor declared him dead.

The body was sent to Pabna General Hospital morgue for autopsy.
