Two teenage boys killed in Gopalganj road crash

Two teenage boys were killed and another one injured when a motorcycle hit a roadside tree on Gopinathpur-Kholghat local road in Jalabadh union of Gopalganj Sadar upazila on Friday morning (January 10).

Maruf Sheikh, 14, son of Palash Sheikh, Badhan Fakir, 14, son of Bulbul Fakhir. The duo were students of class nine of Pachuria Alia Madrasa.

Gopalganj Sadar police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Mir Sajedur Rahman confirmed the matter.

OC said that the three teenagers were heading towards Durgapur riding a motorcycle this morning. Their bike hit a roadside tree when the driver lost control over the two-wheeler, leaving them injured.

Later, they were rushed to Gopalganj General Hospital where the two died under treatment.
