Home Affairs Adviser to govt officials: Stop oiling

Home Affairs Adviser Lt Gen (retd) Md Jahangir Alam Chowdhury opined that government officials should stop oiling.

The adviser said this while addressing a program at Sirajdikhan upazila of Munshiganj on Sunday (January 12).

In reply to a question, he said the local administration has been ordered to mark the boundaries of the Balu Mahal to prevent anyone from illegally extracting sand from the river.

He said; We will see who will come to power in the future. You will be strict now. Do not spared anyone under any circumstances.

At the event, 30 power tillers and 40 shallow machines were handed over to local farmers under Dhaka Bank's social responsibility program.

Munshiganj deputy commissioner Fatema-Tul-Jannat, and police super Shamsul Alam Sarkar attended the function.
