Ananda Mohan College closed

Authorities have declared closure of Govt Ananda Mohan College in Mymensingh city for three days following clashes between students over allocation of hostel seats.

Principal professor Md Amanullah confirmed the matter on Sunday night (January 12).

He said college classes and exams of the collages have been declared shut for the next three days to stabilize the ongoing situation.

Besides, the hostels for male students were declared closed for an indefinite period.

Earlier, a clash broke out at the College involving Anti-Discrimination Student Movement members and college students on Sunday evening over dormitory seat issue, leaving at least 10 injured.
