Rail links with Rajshahi restored after 4 hours

Rail communication between Rajshahi and the rest of the country has been restored after four hours of disruption following the derailment of Titumir Express.

The train services resumed after 10:30 am on Monday (January 13).

Railway Western Chief Operating Officer Ahsan Ullah confirmed the resumption of the service.

Earlier, a coach of Titumir Express train derailed near Sharda station in Rajshahi at around 6:30 am, disrupting rail communication with the rest of the country.
