Worker form human chain demanding reopening of 16 factories

Workers and staff of different factories at Beximco Industrial Park formed a human chain demanding reopening of 16 factories within the industrial complex in Sarab area of Gazipur.

The human chain program was observed peacefully around 9:00am on Tuesday (January 14).

The human chain was formed on the roadside of Chandra-Nabinagar highway in Chakraborty area. Thousands of garment workers join the program.

Earlier on December 15, the factories were shut. Around 40 thousands of workers worked in the 16 factories.
