Two killed in Jhenaidah boiler blast 

Two people were killed and two others injured in a boiler blast at a sawmill at Kotchandpur upazila in Jhenaidah district on Tuesday afternoon.

Officer-in-charge of Kotchandpur upazila Kabir Hossain Matabbar said the incident took place in Boluhor bus stand area of the upazila.  

The deceased were identified as Milton, 28, son of Omar Ali at Singia village, and Ram Kumar, 40, son of Khitish Kumar at the village.

The accident happened when a main machine of the sawmill exploded due to overheating, leaving the duo dead on the spot and other two injured.
