Work underway to update voter list accurately: EC Sanaullah

The Election Commissioner Abul Fazal Md Sanaullah said that work is underway to ensure the accurate information is collected and published in the updated voter list.

The EC said this while addressing a view exchange meeting organized at Naogaon on Sunday (February 2).

He said in the past, due to the incorrect publication of voter list information, the people have been suffering in many ways. The aim of this commission is to give the nation a beautiful, orderly and impartial election in the future. Therefore, the work underway to update voter list accurately.

In reply to a question regarding the participation of the Awami League in the election, he said it’s totally a matter of political consensus.

Naogaon deputy commissioner Abdul Awal presided over the program where police super Safiul Sarwar, Naogaon municipality administrator TMA Momin, deputy election officer Abdul Mottalib and others attended.
