Tender box looted by firing bullets, exploding cocktails 

A tender box of a hat (market) lease was looted by firing blank bullets and exploding cocktails in Poba of Rajshahi. 

A former Juba Dal leader named Shakilur Rahman Ron, 42, was allegedly stabbed during that time. He has been admitted to a hospital. 

The incident took place at the Poba Upazila Parishad of the district on Monday (February 3) afternoon, said Poba Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Arafat Aman Aziz. 

Meanwhile, a Juba Dal leader has complained that he was obstructed while submitting a tender. The district Jubo Dal leader also said that he would not give a statement outside the party's decision.

The injured Shakilur is the former joint secretary of Shah Makhdum Thana unit of Juba Dal in Rajshahi city.

He went to submit the tender along with a joint convener of the district Juba Dal.
