KUET administrative and academic buildings locked 

Students of Khulna University of Engineering and Technology (KUET) have locked the administrative and academic buildings of the university to press home their five demands including resignation of the vice-chancellor. 

The students locked the buildings at around 1:30 pm on Wednesday (February 19).

Meanwhile, a tense situation is prevailing on the campus, centering the yesterday's clash. No classes or exams were held. Students have been leaving the halls from the morning.

Students have announced a five-point demand- one of which is the resignation of the vice-chancellor. Their movement will continue until their demands are met.

ADC (North) of Khulna Metropolitan Police Md. Nazmul Hasan Rajib said, "Five people have been arrested in connection with the Tuesday’s clash. However, no case has been filed yet”.
