Miscreants attack Cox’s Bazar Air Force Base, one killed

Miscreants have launched a sudden attack on the Air Force Base in Cox’s Bazar, leaving one businessman dead.

The attack was carried out around 12 pm on Monday (February 24).

The victim is Shihab Kabir Nahid, 30, son of Nasir Uddin.

Saiful Islam, in charge of the police box at the Cox’s Bazar District Hospital, confirmed the incident.

Cox’s Bazar Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Salahuddin said, “One person was killed and several others were injured in the attack carried out by miscreants on the Air Force Base in Cox’s Bazar. It is not clear yet how the clash initiated. Action will be taken after discussing with both sides.”

Meanwhile, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) issued a press release on Monday noon, confirming that miscreants launched a sudden attack on the Air Force Base in Cox’s Bazar.

The Bangladesh Air Force is taking necessary actions in this regard, the release said.
