Questions arisen in people’s minds about interim govt: Tarique 

BNP acting Chairman Tarique Rahman has said that various questions have arisen in the minds of the people about the interim government that are running the country.

He made the allegation while addressing the Cumilla Metropolitan BNP conference virtually from London as the chief guest on Tuesday (February 25) afternoon.

The acting Chairman of BNP said, “We have been supporting the interim government since its formation. Because we want this government will restore the people's voting rights through a fair and impartial election. But we are noticing that different people in the government say different things about restoring the people's rights."

Tarique also raised a question who would benefit if the election is delayed in Bangladesh.

Over the past 15-16 years, the BNP has faced oppression, torture, disappearances, false cases, and many challenges, he added. 

“But we believe the BNP has become a party of the people. Despite the obstacles, we are working step by step to overcome them and meet the needs of the people more effectively. This effort will continue in the future," he added.
