14 Beximco factories closed permanently

The authority has shut down 14 factories owned by the debt-ridden Beximco Group in Sarab area of Gazipur metropolitan.

Besides, all workers and employees of these factories were terminated from February 28.

The authority issued a notification in this regard on Wednesday (February 26).

Earlier on December 15, the decision was made during a meeting of the Beximco Crisis Resolution Advisory Council at the Ministry of Labor and Employment's conference room.
