Chicken seller beaten to death 

A seller has been beaten to death for demanding remaining money for selling chicken in Teknaf upazila of Cox’s Bazar. 

Officer-in-Charge of Teknaf Thana Muhammad Gias Uddin said the incident took place on Monday noon in front of the Monirghona Mosque in Hoaikyong union of the upazila.

The deceased Dildar Mia, 48, is the son of Abdus Sobhan of Monirghona area of the union. He has a chicken selling shop at Monirghona station.

The OC said police is trying to arrest the accused Abdul Hakim and others.
