Youth hacked to death in Bogura

A youth was hacked to death and another injured over a previous dispute at Maltinagar Khandakar para of Bogura district town on Monday night (March 3).

The deceased was known as Parvez, 25, son of Riazul Islam.

Sources said that the victim had an altercation with some unidentified youths on Sunday afternoon. Following the dispute, they attacked him around 8:00pm on Monday, leaving him critically injured.

Quoting family members, Banani police station’s Sub-Inspector Fazle Elahi said Parvez was found unconscious onthe  road. Later, he was taken to hospital where duty doctor declared him dead.
