No fresh notes will be distributed this Eid

The Bangladesh Bank (BB) will not exchange fresh notes for the public ahead of the upcoming Eid-ul-Fitr.
 
The central bank took the decision recently. 

According to a directive, branches holding fresh notes must not exchange them and should keep them in reserve.
 
Banks have been advised to complete all cash transactions using re-circulated notes.
