3 passengers killed as truck hits auto-rickshaw in Gazipur 

Three auto-rickshaw passengers were killed as a truck hit them in Kaliakoir of Gazipur on Saturday morning. 

Two people were also injured in the incident occurred on the Mauna-Kaliakoir road in the Mediashulai area of the upazila at around 8:45 am. 

The names and identities of the deceased and injured were not immediately found.

Kaliakoir Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Riyad Mahmud said, “I have heard about the death of three people in the road accident. Police have been sent to the scene. I will be able to provide details on this later.”
