Two killed in Faridpur road crash

At least two people were killed and another one injured in a collision involving a watermelon-laden truck, a motorcycle, and an auto-rickshaw at Shibrampur in Faridpur's Sadar upazila.

The deceased were known as Nayan Sheikh, Shahjahan Sheikh.

Karimpur Highway Police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Md Salauddin Chowdhury said the truck, which was heading towards Rajbari from Faridpur, lost control and collided with the motorcycle and the auto-rickshaw around 9:00 am, leaving the motorcycle rider Nayan dead on the spot.

Later, the injured were sent to Faridpur Medical College Hospital but Shahjahan Sheikh died on the way to the hospital.
