4 killed as bus, auto rickshaw collide head-on in Pabna

At least four people were killed and two others injured when a bus hit a CNG-run auto-rickshaw on Ishwardi-Dashuria road in Ishwardi upazila of Pabna district on Thursday afternoon (March 20).

The identities of the deceased could not be known immediately.

Police said that the bus crashed into the CNG-run auto-rickshaw around 5:30 pm in front of Baharpur Mallika Agro Food, leaving four people dead on the spot and two others injured.

Confirming the matter, Ishwardi Police Station officer-in-charge (OC) Shahidul Islam said driver and helper of the bus fled the scene after the accident.
