2 killed in Narsingdi factional clash

At least two people were killed and five others injured in a clash between two groups over establishing supremacy in Raipura of Narsingdi on Friday morning (March 21).

The deceased were known as Amin Mia, 20, and Bashar, 30.

Police and local sources said that there has been a long-standing dispute between the Salam of Mohinipur union and Samsu member groups over establishing supremacy. As a result, there was a scuffle between the two groups last night. Later, the both groups locked into the clash with locally made lethal weapons, leaving two people dead.

Confirming the matter, Raipura police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Adil Mahmud said details will be disclosed later.
