Couple, child found dead at Gazipur house

Police have recovered the bodies of a couple and their four-year-old child from a house in the Gobindabari area of Kashimpur in Gazipur.
The three bodies were recovered on Sunday (March 23) morning.
The deceased were identified as Md Nazmul Islam, 29, son of Md Abu, his wife Khadiza Aktar, 22, and their four-year old child Nadia Aktar.
According to police and residents of the area, Nazmul used to live with his wife and child at his in-laws’ house in the Gobindabari area. There had been a family feud between Nazmul and his wife over various issues for a long time. They often quarreled over these issues. They fell asleep at around 11:30 pm on Saturday night. When they did not wake up today, other family members started calling them at around 6:30 am. Getting no answer from inside, relatives pulled the back window and peeped inside the house and found Nazmul’s hanging body.
Later, they broke open the door of the house and found the bodies of Khadiza and Nadia lying on the bed. Upon receiving information, the police rushed to the spot around 10 am, recovered the three bodies and sent them to the morgue of Shaheed Tajuddin Medical College Hospital in Gazipur for autopsy.
Confirming the incident, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Kashimpur Police Station Md Moniruzzaman said, “Legal action will be taken in this connection.”
