One killed in BNP factional clash in Mirsharai

A man was killed and several others were injured in a clash between two BNP factions in Baraiyarhat municipality under Mirsharai upazila of Chattogram on Wednesday afternoon.

The deceased was identified as Md Javed, 45.

The conflict arose between two groups over the formation of new committees, resulting in Javed’s death at the scene and injuries to several others.

The injured are currently receiving treatment at the Mirsharai Upazila Health Complex.
