Section 144 imposed in Mymensingh’s Gafargaon 

The local administration has imposed Section 144 at an Eidgah in Gafargaon upazila in Mymensingh.

The restriction was imposed from 6:00am on Sunday (March 30) to 6:00pm on Sunday to contain any untoward incidents.

A letter signed by Gafargaon upazila executive officer (UNO) said that an extremely tense situation is prevailing in the area centering Eid prayers at the Lamkain Eidgah ground in Panchbagh Union No. 9.

In this backdrop, the Section 144 was imposed in the upazila to avert any untoward incidents.
