Ex-central leader of banned BCL arrested in Gopalganj

Police arrested Anwar Hossain Anu, former vice-president of the central committee of banned Bangladesh Chhatra League, in a case filed over the murder of Central Volunteer Party Sports Secretary Shawkat Ali Didar.

Anu was arrested from Bedgram village in Gopalganj district town on Monday (April 7) night.

Mir Md Sajedur Rahman, officer-in-charge (OC) of Sadar Police Station, confirmed his arrest on Tuesday (April 8) morning.
