Road crash kills one in Tangail

Staff Correspondent, Tangail: At least one person was killed and 10 other were injured in a collision between a bus and truck in the district on Saturday morning.

The accident took place around 6.00am in Khudirampur area of Tangail Sadar upazila.

The deceased could not be identified immediately.

In-Charge of Madhupur police outpost Jahangir Alam said a Dhaka-bound bus from Nilphamari collided head-on with a truck coming from opposite side, leaving one dead on the spot. 

The injured have been admitted to Tangail Medical College Hospital.
