Husband-wife found dead in Tangail

Staff Correspondent: Police has recovered the bodies of a couple from a septic tank from Rasulpur village under Gala union of Tangail sadar upazilla.

On information, police recovered the bodies around 1.00pm on Thursday.

The deceased were identified as Anil Chandra Das (65), a retired teacher of Rasulpur Bachhiron Nesa High School and his wife Kalpona Das (55).

Locals said that the only son of the deceased had been employed in a bank in Dhaka. Anil Chandra and his wife used to stay at home. At around 10.00am, locals entered the house without getting any response from them. At that time they did not find them at home and were looking for them around. Later, around 12.00pm, they found Anil Chandra and his wife dead on their septic tank and informed the police.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Tangail Model Police Station Nazmul Haque Bhuiyan said miscreants entered their house at night and killed them. After searching, details can be made.
