Three militants remanded in Narayanganj

Staff Correspondent, Narayanganj: A Narayanganj court has placed three militants on a four-day remand each.

They were remanded to interrogate into a case filed under Anti-Terrorism Act.

Earlier, InspectorJahirul Islam of RAB-11 filed the case with Rupganj Police Station against the militants, according to Ismail Hossain, OC of the station.

Judge Ashek Imam of Narayanganj Senior Judicial Magistrate Court passed the order on Sunday.

The convicts were known as Rezaur Rahman and his two associates- Riyazul Islam and Shamsud Mia.

Rezaur is a leader of Ansarullah Bangla Team (ABT).

The militants were arrested Zindapark area of the upazila on Friday.
