Three Rohingya children die as boat capsize

Cox's Bazar Correspondent: At least three children died as a boat carrying Rohingyas from Myanmar turned turtle and capsized in the Bay of Bengal in Sabrang area of Tekhnaf on Thursday.
Local fishermen rescued 51 Rohingya people including women and children after the incident.
The deceased was identified as Omar Salma, four-month daughter of Md Yeasin of Buchidong Kutupalong of Myanmar, seven-month old Ayub, son of Abdul Aziz and seven-year old Abdul Nabi, son of Abdul High of the same area.
Rohingyas who survived told that the boat with around 54 Rohingyas who were fleeing Myanmar to Bangladesh sank at Khurermukh, leaving three children dead.
Moinuddin Ahmed, officer-in-charge (OC) of Tekhnaf Police Station, confirmed the news.
Locals recovered the bodies and buried those at a local graveyard, the OC added.
