Mother, son killed in Gazipur road accident

Staff Correspondent, Gazipur: A woman and her 4-year-old son have been killed in a road accident in Chandra area of Kaliakair upazila in the district on Monday.

The identities of the deceased could not be known immediately.

Locals said that a passenger bus rammed an auto-rickshaw on Dhaka-Tangail Highway around 9:30am, leaving the two persons dead the spot.

Later, on information, police recovered the body.

Konabari Highway police station Officer-in-Charge Basudeb Sinha confirmed the matter to risingbd.com.
