Staff Correspondent, Chattorgram: A bank official was slaughtered to death in Saltgola area of the port city Chattorgram on Sunday noon.
The deceased was identified as Sajal Nandi, 48, senior officer of Bupali Bank.
Police recovered the body from his rented residence at the noon.
Mainul Islam, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Port Police Station, confirmed the news.
He said, “Sajal Nandi lived in the house with his wife who was out of home during the incident.”
The body was sent to Chattogram Medical College and Hospital morgue for autopsy, he added.
