3 of a family hacked to death in Pabna

Pabna Correspondent: Three members of a family were hacked to death in Bot Tola village of Varenga union under Bera upazila in Pabna early Wednesday.

The deceased were Buli Khatun, 40, wife of Mithu Hossain, Tushar Hossain, 10 and Nasiman Khatun, 45.

Quoting family members, Senior Assistant Police Super Ashish Bin Hasan said Mithu Hossain's son Tuhin Hossain attacked his mother Buli Khatun, younger brother Tushar and aunty Nasiman Khatun early Wednesday and fled the scene.

However, the reason behind the murder could not be known immediately.

The bodies were kept at Pabna General Hospital morgue for autopsy.
